Class 4 chemical indicator strips utilize color chemistry printed on a paperboard strip which progresses from yellow to black. A black color reference standard is included for interpretive match.
Use as an internal chemical indicator to monitor exposure to conditions of steam sterilization inside packs for 121°C (250°F) and 134°C (272°F) cycles.
It is suitable for indicating the high-temperature steam sterilization process. It intuitively reflects whether items have been effectively processed. After use, it can be kept as a sterilization record.
When monitoring, place in the center or the most difficult-to-reach location for steam within the test kits or packages.
