Chemical Indicator Strips

The chemical indicator strips are manufactured in the absence of lead or other heavy metals. They are constructed from special card, a standard color patch, and an indicator strip. The process indicator ink shows a clear and accurate color change, indicating if the pack has been processed. These strips are designed for Steam, E.O. Gas, and Plasma sterilization processes.

Application

Widely used in hospitals, pharmaceuticals, food, and health products for sterilization tests of medical equipment. It serves as an indicator of whether the container or bag has been processed.

Usage & Result

Place the indicator strip in the center of the package or box. For Steam sterilization (132ºC-134ºC), the strip turns from beige/yellow to black within 3.5 minutes to confirm processing.

Storage & Shelf Life

18 months when sealed at room temperature (15ºC-30ºC) and 50% relative humidity. Avoid sunlight, UV light, and corrosive gases.
